Bat Sweatshirt #19- *Med - Lg*
Since each manufacturer uses a different sizing chart, I’ve measured each garment while lying flat in two directions. The width is measured across the chest (armpit to armpit) and the height is measured from the shoulder seam (next to the neck band) down to the bottom of the garment. Please reference each sweatshirt number for details such as style, measurements, materials and other info.
Details:
Brand/ Style: (no brand label)/ hoodie w/ kangaroo pocket
Size (as marked) and Mel's Measurements: Large: 22.5" wide x 29" tall
Color/ Print: Navy/ Woodland Bats
Materials: No label but feel like a 50% cotton, 50% polyester
Other: Very very thick and spongy. I mean like this sucker will keep you warm! If you think the inside looks like it's a touch more worn or slightly pilled, it more a trick of the eye than reality, because it feels very plush. Be sure to wash inside out to keep that fuzzy feeling long term.
Bat sweatshirts ready for fall! This project combines some of my favorite things; recycling, sewing and bats! These sweatshirts have been reworked and are all one-of-a-kind, so grab your favorite before it's gone.
A few details: Each sweatshirt is thrifted, washed and reworked to feature a new design. I only use garments that are in excellent or like-new condition. (Some were never worn and still had the original sales tag!) After washing the batty fabrics and the garment, I then quilt the batty fabric to a new piece of sweatshirt fleece. I serge the edges to make sure nothing will unravel with wear, and then reverse appliqué (sew from the inside) of the garment. Then I cut away the original design to feature a new updated garment in all its batty goodness.
